How do I order from usedlighting.co.uk?
Ordering is easy - simply call us on 0844 800 3412 or Skype: usedlighting, e-mail us at sales@usedlighting.co.uk or fax your order to 0844 800 3413. From outside of the UK call +44 844 800 3412 or +44 20 8662 8018. Calls to our 'ContactCall' 0844 number are charged at up to 5 pence per minute from a BT landline and no revenue is generated from the cost of your call for Lighting Partners.
Is your used equipment in working order?
All of our equipment is tested and certified as working prior to going on sale.
Is your used equipment safe?
All of our used equipment is tested for electrical safety, we do ask however that it is tested again on arrival as connections can come loose in transit.
What else happens to the equipment before it is sold?
Once certified as working and having no parts missing, our equipment is thoroughly cleaned with paint work being repaired if required, PAT tested and then film wrapped. We take pride in the presentation of our used kit. Moving lights are fully serviced prior to sale.
Do you include lamps with lanterns?
If a unit arrives with a lamp installed and the lamp is working it is left in place. As we don't know how old the lamp will be, it is not guaranteed and is not reflected in the sale price. If a unit has no lamp on arrival we do not include a new one. Used lamps are not guaranteed if they fail on arrival.
Do your lanterns include a plug?
Yes, most are fitted with a 15 Amp plug, some have 16 Amp - each item listing identifies the plug type. If you have a preference just let us know.
Is your used equipment under warranty?
Yes. All equipment is prepared and tested by qualified personnel prior to sale but for your peace of mind we offer a 30 day return to base warranty. If problems arise just send the item back and we will sort it out - simple! We will cover the parts and labour costs, all you need to look after is getting to and from our service centre. Unwanted items attract a 25% restocking fee - contact us for details.
What is the availability of items on your site?
We hold the vast majority of items on our website in our warehouse, other items are available at short notice.
Can I collect rather than have an item sent?
Yes, collection is possible by prior arrangement from our warehouse in Croydon, South London.
How much is shipping?
We charge a flat rate of £14 plus VAT for up to 30Kg, this is for a 24 Hour delivery by TNT (restrictions apply - contact us for details). On despatch you will be emailed a tracking number to enable you to follow the progress of your order over the web. International shipments are priced per order.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept payment by Maestro (Switch), VISA, MasterCard, Electron, Solo and VISA Delta or by cheque, cash or BACS. Cheque payments must clear prior to shipping - please allow 7 days. International orders can only be paid for by international bank transfer.
I am buying on behalf of a school, can you deal with them?
We deal with many orders from schools and LEA's, please contact us for more details.
Are your replacement lamps used?
No! All of our replacement lamps are brand new and from top manufacturers - we don't sell unbranded lamps.
